Will I get motivation back?

I'm tapering down from Tramadol, and I have Chronic fatigue as well.  I'm feeling very low energy, depressed almost, don't want to go anywhere, and can't really clean the house either.  I'm hoping to get my intrinsic energy back, does that happen?

I did force myself to go outside, it's murder doing nothing.  I didn't want to strain myself, I'm kinda going through some physical pain (a bladder problem) and have been told to take it easy today.  I finally got up and did a little.  My taper is going well.  I actually saved a pill for morning.  This morning I was going through wd's for about an hour and a half but stuck with the smaller amount, that helped me have more pills throughout the day, so I took small does instead of 5 at a time.  I'm down to 9 pills today.  Way down from huge amounts.  I think I'll be ok as long as I stick to my taper and don't binge.

I was here before when you were just getting off.  Wow I'm glad to hear about your energy level, that's the encouragement I need.  I know you went ct, I couldn't imagine.  Do you advice tapering instead now that you went ct?  After you took your last pill when did your energy start to pick up?  I think I remember you saying you had to look at a week at a time, not a day at a time because each day you could go forward or backward, but if you looked at a week at a time you could see improvement.  How was your second week clean compared to your second week?

Hey Grace.  I have been off of it for about 3 months, and it does come back.  You will have to get done with your taper and off the pills for a bit before you can feel it though!  Exercise will help SO much.  Fresh air and making yourself do little 10 minute jobs around the house instead of being in bed will help too.  That is what I did.  I would get up and just try to do something for 10 minutes.  Now, I hardly sit down all day!  And I love it.  I feel fantastic!  You will too.  Tramadol is the devil pill.  I'm glad you are getting off of it!!!

I hope this goes well for you!!!  Congrats on your decision to get off!

TY for the motivation.  I will try to do something, but I'm having pain today and was told to rest, so I can maybe work tomorrow.  I almost feel sleepy, just one minute at a time right now

Yes your energy will come back.  It takes some time so try and be patient.  Forcing yourself to get up and move around will help.  Get outside and soak up some sun and fresh air.  I know the energy thing is no fun but just keep hanging on          sara
