My friend is a month into his detoxing off of lorcets. He was eating about 60 a day.  Well the physical withdrawls are mainly over except he says his skin feels like its burning. All over his body this constant buring sensation. Has anyone ever had this happen while detoxing? I also just detoxed and had alot of different stuff happen to my body but not any burning sensation. The crawing out of your skin feeling can get pretty strong that it may feel hot to the body or he could be having hot flashes. 60 pills a day is alot, so his withdrawal is going to be much stronger and last longer than someone coming off 6 -10 day. His nerves are trying to adjust back to normal, i still felt bad after one month coming off a long battle with lortab 10-500 and i was on methadone at the time.
As the physical pains have passed so will these feelings, congrats on both of you getting clean.

I'm afraid I don't know about that... I never experienced it.

Hopefully someone will see your post who might be able to shed some light on this...

good luck to you and your friend,
