what a week im proud but so sore cravings r thru rhe roof grrr

Hey guys what a week i didnt get a chance to post this morning cos the site was having. Health check i worked 8 hrs shifts all week n today Im so sore i went for a hot shower as soon as i got home my partner gave me a rub but omg so sore my brain won't stop the cravings r thru the roof its overwhelming GOD GIVE ME STRENGTH!!!!!!

Big huge hugs, AJ, and hope you get a good night's sleep. Very difficult with pain I know, yet each day your body gets more and more accustomed to being without the pills. I hope your foot is feeling better.

Cornmeal is a course flour ground from American corn. To make hushpuppies you roll it into balls with onion and fry it. It is crispy on the outside and softer on the inside. They are served as a side with fish along with fries.

Thanks Sara its not just addiction for me its pain as well yes there is non narcotic ones but my Dr is yet to find one n put me on it i haven't caved to my pain or cravings but this has been the worst week for my pain work tomorrow arvie tryin to rest as much as i can showers n rubs paracetMol n inbuphen i honestly don't know how much longer i can hang on hopefully i sleep good tonite n i hope everyone doin it hard i right there with yas mwah big hugs love from oz aj xoxoxoxo

Hope your feeling better.  Remember you are in control of you now, not your addiction.  When we get tired out and sore our brain will play games with us.  We dont play those games anymore, we deal with reality and our reality is staying clean another day.  You got this girl~~~sara

Mmm, I love fries! Typically in the US we think of chips as very thin, oval shaped fried pieces of potato that are very crunchy. I should have known that, though, because fish and chips means fish and fries. Do you make hushpuppies to go with fish? They are fried balls of cornmeal in batter with onion. Very yummy :)

AJ sorry you had a tough week and you are sore. The cravings suck, I am having them too. But taking a pill is not an option for us. You have been so strong and I know you've got this. Take care.

Sooooo proud of you!!!!  Those cravings can be so intense but don't give in, those will fade away too!  I know it doesn't feel like it when one hits, but I promise you the more time that goes by, the easier it will get.  Something that I remind myself is that a pill or PILLS (because 1 is too many & never enough at the same time) won't really take the crave away, it will just keep those cravings alive & make them stronger. Your brain is just playing tricks on you right now because it doesn't understand wtf is going on, but it will catch up once it realizes you are not going to be feeding it anymore of that posion.  Stay strong, you are doing a wonderful job!

if your not to sore exercise is good but I know you been dealing with a lot of pain lately hang in there im praying for you  your going to make it just keep telling yourself that and remember you just got to stay clean for today we do this one day at a time good luck and God bless.........Gnarly
