Day 5 no oc, day 1 no suboxone

I have officially gotten passed the opiate (physical) part and now it's time to drop the subs as they were only to help me thru the withdrawals.. Its definitely a roller coaster... I've been ok minus I didn't really sleep last night and I am a little clammy and uncomfortable it's so hard not to just go back to old ways but I won't! Today I have lunch with my mom and a hair apt with an old friend to keep me distracted! Any tips? I'm on vitamins and all that and I haven't found any NA in my area, should I go to aa?

keeping distracted is great... eat as healthy as you can and exercising are also good ideas for the mind and the body when detoxing or lowering doses... ALL THE BEST NOW :)

Hey!  You have the right idea. Keep positive and busy!  Going into it with the right attitude is so important.  Rememmber that hot baths help a lot as does moderate exercise.

You're doing good!  ;-)

Yes I have heard, I have gone down from 4 mg to half a mg so I am hoping that if I have withdrawal that it is minor, I have been taking the vitamins and bought anti diarrea and Motrin Just in case though!
Thank you for your support, I need all I can get right now!

Did your doctor set you up on a taper plan for the Suboxone? Be sure to follow that because stopping it cold turkey can be uncomfrtable. It has a long half-life so you will not begin to feel the withdrawal symptoms right away.

Surely AA is a good choice if NA is not available. The message is the same. If you need help locating meetings, just give a shout.
