Be very careful of the drinking.  It is very common to switch up addictions.  Alcohol talks to our addict brain too and this can take you down real hard.

hi ted,
that is awesome that you are sleeping.
great job.  one day at a time. congratulations getting off the pills.
now about the drinking. you know you cant control it.
now it is 2-3 drinks then it will be more.
please go to some meetings and also seek out a counselor. get to the bottom of why you continue to use. you need to keep yourself healthy.
are you exercising? eating healthy?
keep us posted on your progress.
continued prayers

I have to agree with above poster's. When I quit the pills my wine intake increased. Guess it's just the nature of the addiction beast. Way to go on losing the meds!
