addicted to pain killers / 7 weeks pregnant! What are the safest options to get through this?

I just found out that i`m pregnant. Went to my first prenatal appo. the doctor said everything is going very well. I informed her of the medications i was taking prior to finding out about baby. I stopped taking the medications. However i also take percocet 15 mg 3-4 times a day ; not prescribed, and have not been able to stop taking this medication due to complications ; withdrawl (withdrawal). This is my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy i did not stop taking any medication i prescribed to prior to finding out. I was taking adderall (adderrall) 30mg. & suboxone 4 mg. Need less to say i miscarried. My problem now is i fear taking suboxone because i feel it is more toxic to the baby then the percocet. Also i am scared to tell the doctors because i dont know what they might do.

Okay...I'm sorry...but you know better having already lost one baby.  You need to tell the doctor right away. You know this is dangerous. The doctor is the only person who can help you. Do not go cold turkey!  Do you have suboxone without a prescription, also?

Just call the doctor and explain everything. It's the only thing you can do now. We can offer support but we can't advise you about the pills you take.

Good luck...

Please get honest with the doctor about what you take.  They will be able to help you.

Well my problem is this ; i have a plan just needing advice from any one who may have been ( or know someone that might have been ) in a similar situation. One thing i want to explain is that i have injuries due to an accident so the percocet that i take is not for recreational use. I use it as needed. my dilema is this i Feel as if its safer to stay off the withdrawl (withdrawal) meds.( suboxone ) due to the greater amounts of toxins opposed to the percocets themselves, because is it still sooo early in the pregnancy. My ultimate goal is to not be dependent on these meds the whole pregnancy. Just need advice on how to get there safely with out harming my babes =] thanks

If you need the percocet then why dont you get it from the doctor?  The only advice any of us can give you is to tell your doctor as that is the safest way.  They will monitor you and the baby.  We arent trying to be difficult here at all but you have another life growing in you and coming off meds needs to be done correctly as the baby feels what you feel.  Are you scared to tell them?
