I am hearing more and more about soboxone does anyone have any info they can give me on how they work and how to use them.  I would really appreciate it if someone could offer me some suggestions on how to deal with my percocet addiction.  Thanks

I have been taking suboxene for almost 2 weeks now. I have been addicted to pain pills for almost 10 years now. I have tried to taper and for me it has never worked, i have gone into a detox center and they had me on methadone for 7 days which was a nightmare i would not recommend that to any one. But for me the suboxene was my last hope and it has been a very pleasent 2 weeks but i dont want to get addicted to the suboxene so i want to start soon to taper down. There is alot of helpful info on the health pages on sub which i found very helpful and it also suggest if you taper down off the sub within 21 days that there is less of a chance you will be addicted or have bad w/d's. My dr has told me that he dosent want to rush me off the sub since i was using so much and for so long that we would do a longer taper. But for me it has given me a chance to have my life back. No more searching for pills, no more my days and nights planned around how many pills i had left.
This isnt for everyone i think sub should be used if you tried all of you other options first. If you have then i would look into finding a good suboxene dr.
I have found many people here that have been so helpful and very knowlegeable.
