I would go to a physician to learn how to taper off. Usually trying it by yourself doesn't work nearly as well as being monitered. Sorry no one answered sooner! But you need to be monitered, especially your heart rate, respirations, and blood pressure, therefore a physician is necessary. The doctor could treat you as an outpatient if that is what you prefer. Good luck and God bless.

You do a few responses. Go to your home page and look at your posts .tapering has to be done slowly. Dropping a small amount overtime.

Hi leeds,

Please don't feel slighted - I'm pretty sure the reason members didn't reply to your question about tapering is that it's against forum policy to do so.  We can not recommend tapering schedules because it could be dangerous to do that when we don't know your medical history.

Check with your Dr. and I'm sure he/she can provide a good tapering schedule that will work for your individual situation.  Good luck to you - and please stick around - this place can be wonderful for support and can provide a lot of great information about what you're going through.  It was a g-dsend for me and I'm sure it could be for you too.

Good luck to you!  :)
