The pills definitely get you bound up. There really isn't a whole lot you can do that will help if you are still taking the pain meds. You can try eating foods high in fiber. Mind if I ask why you are taking pain meds? Mine use started off by a back injury and then a failed surgery has me living with chronic pain. In the long run the pills ended up causing me more pain than the actual physical pain I have. The problem is the longer we take them, the bigger our tolerance grows. We have to take more and more to get the same effect. After time the pills no longer achieve pain relief and we still end up taking them to keep from being sick. So if you haven't been on them too long, I would look for other ways to control your pain. I just don't want to see you end up with a big time addiction like myself and so many others on here have. Stopping them will also help with the bathroom issues. Med help has a great pain management forum. If you suffer from chronic pain, you should check it out. There are some great people that will help you manage you pain with other means.
Best of luck with everything. If you are ready to get off the pills, come on here and post for support. There are so many caring people that do not judge that will help you through. So if you ever want to get off of them, please stick around!

Take care,
Brian
