brain damage

I'm a recovering addict. I have 3 years clean. I used what ever I could but my drug of choice was meth . I used for 15 years. My question is will my brain ever go back to to normal like that of someone who never used? I have memory problems forget basic words sometimes. I get anxious even when doing nothing and depressed even when I'm working out.
I have a bump above my left temple I've had for 10 years it's an inch long and sticks out about a quarter of an inch. It's not from a head injury. If it's from all my drug use could that be cause some of my problems? Oh ya I don't smoke cigarettes any more I was told if I quit my brain would benefit.

I would try to find the right answer from a doc. I could be wrong but never of drug use pushing a bone out of head. The fact you are still having memory issues is concerning

yes I've been to a clinic years ago he said he thought if felt like bone. It is oval shaped. No it hasn't gottin bigger. I remember reading an article in a magazine that mentioned this same kind of bump with people who have used to much dope. I have had my family dr. Look at it to he raised is eye brows but said nothing.
