detox

Been taking vicodin for over a year maybe 2 or 3 a day. How long will it take to detox off of them

Withdrawal is different for everyone so its really hard to say, but to encourage you I want to tell you that I was taking 3 a day sometimes 4 and I quit 41 days ago ... I didn't have very bad withdrawal at all.  I had quit several times when I ran out never had very bad WD and I never realized how lucky I am till I started reading this board adn seeing other peoples stories.  Maybe its because I didn't take too many?  Not sure, but I think its always best to start hoping and thinking the best you can and then, well if its worse just deal with it.  Why get discouraged before you ever start?  

One or two a day for a year isn't too bad so let's go with the theory that you'll be like me.  Everyone's body is different so you don't know for sure, but I am hoping the best for you.

Can you taper? Hard to say cuz everyone is differnt. Are you getting ready to quit soon?

depends on mg and such but normally a week! good luck
