Thankyou guys so much, I will try a hot shower and earplugs and make my bed extra appealing ;-) tonight. See if that helps before I start taking any meds. But thankyou again.....

Earplugs, hot baths, this and that,  I know others are really trying to help but I've been there and done that.     The real culprit for many of us are the chemicals we ingested that actually disrupted our body and brain chemistry by pushing aside our own natural chemicals which control the sleep/wake cycle.    Now some individuals can still sleep despite the disruption.   They are the fortunate ones.    But many of us find it much more difficult to get the rest we used to get.     For us,  its best to get back to the time prior to using the drugs.

Hi Kalie, have you ever tried earplugs?  I have a lot of trouble sleeping also and will wake up at a pin drop.  I discovered *Macks* earplugs over 30yrs ago and they work wonders!  They are made of soft silicone and very comfortable and the best part is, you won't hear a thing!  Try them along with the other suggestions.  Hope something helps - good luck!

I totally agree with gnarly's suggestions - and try a hot bath or shower before bedtime.  It will help relax you.  And set a really comfortable and appealing bed for yourself.  May seem like a small thing but it works!

Sweet dreams tonight I HOPE!!  :)
