Vic W/D restlessness. Help!

Does anyone have any tips on getting through the anxiety and overall restlessness that comes with w/d? I have cut back alot and have not taken any pills today. I feel like I'm going nuts and I know it's gonna get worse before it gets better.

Yes i know there is some recipes on here for the teas and everything. there is even a tea you can use for sleep, i dont know the name offhand, but ill find out for you and let you know

Thank you for the tips. I will check out the herbal route as I don't want to go to an M.D. unless it's really needed. I can get the valium no problem but I'm afraid of starting another crutch and I would have to get it from the same person I was getting the vic's from. So... hopefully the natural route will get me by.

Do you know if the otc body detox systems like teas and such help any?

Its a battle, let me tell you that. It can be done though. I would reccomend the thomas recipe to get you some energy. And the anxiety, you can go to your doctor, but i chose to just suck it up and i promise you it will go away. Im going on three weeks tomorrow and my anxiety has subsided plenty. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, you will see it soon enough. Take things day by day. Also take a hot bath whenever possible because RLS is going to set in and its hell. I know you can do this, just remember im here if you have any questions at all. I went cold turkey off of 40-50 10/325's and im already doing better. You have to remember the damage we have done to our bodies. It takes time to heal what we have done. My heart goes out to you, i know what your going through just promise you will stay strong and make it through this

If you can procure some Clonidine (blood pressure medication widely used for opiate w/d anxiety) it will help tons.  Also, a benzo with a long half-life, ie: valium, Ativan, short term  Otherwise, herbs (Valerian root, Calmes Forte pills).  And deep, slow breathing (honest, it helps)  .  Been there, feel you!  good luck.
