Thank you. I really don't wanna end up down that path that why I only had a strip of 10 n didn't ask for more as I loved the feeling but didn't want to be depending on them and then ending up addicted.  I will make a appointment soon as I can and hopefully I won't be given codeine.

Physical therapy worked wonders for me years ago, it did more for me, honestly than a pill.. My advice to anyone, especially that might have some kind of family history of dependency be alcohol or substances, never take the first one. My personal opinion.

Hi Raverbaby,

Welcome.  You may want to take a good look at the path that you are setting yourself up for.  I have taken cocodamol.  It contains codeine and can be very addictive.  This medicine is used for pain, but should be under the advice of a doctor, not taken from a friend.  The best way that you can take care of back pain is to see your doctor and take their advice.  Gambling with addicitive substances could end up being years of nightmare and heartache for you and your family.  Please see your doctor, there are many options to treat pain besides opiate that you may not need, no matter how good you feel right now.
