Jathil...you're going to have to dig your heels in deep. It's not easy, but it can be done for sure. I know you probably don't feel like it, but try to do a at bit of exercise...it goes a long way and helps a good deal with restlessness and anxiety. Say a lil prayer to the big man above or whoever your higher power is :)
I am currently @work, and this being the first time I am craving a pill. I am in pain and all I think about is, how the pill would make me feel better. Please help.
I am taking 1000 mg magnesium, melatonin, sleepy time tea. Also, I soak in a hot tub with Epsom salt. I do get out at least twice a day for a walk or short bike ride. I sleep between 5-7 hours a night...and I am only on day four. You are doing great, hang in there.
Yes it is...sometimes just having someone to tell "I feel horrible" makes it seem a little better. If you haven't seen a doctor yet you may want to. It took some Trazodone for me to finally get some sleep. I thought I would surely die before I got some sleep. I went about 8-9 days without sleeping more than 20 mins at a time. Trazodone is supposed to be non-addictive so it may not be a bad choice? Just a suggestion.....I really do hope you find your solution... :) Good luck.
Thanks for that. I have tried most of those things. I just want it to get better. The online support is sure helpful.
Have you tried the Epsom salt baths yet? Believe it or not, they really do help. At this point, there isn't alot that will just knock you out and make you sleep the whole night thru, BUT know that it does get better. Melatonin and Alteril are good for sleep as week as Valerian root. Not sure what time it is where you are though so if you have no other choices try a good hot soak and try to relax. Sleep is one of the last things to return during detox, and if you stress about it, it only makes things worse. So if nothing else, watch a good movie or read a magazine or book. Good luck!!
