cymbalta...is working wonders for me

i'm detoxing from about 15 10mg lorcets a day. got sick my first day off, so took 4 5mg vics yesterday and a cymbalta. this mornig i've only taken 1 5mg vic. (which doesnt do sh*t for me but help a little) however the cymbalta seem to be working wonders. i have a better outlook, feel stronger mentally, and its helping with the pain. has anyone else tried this approach?

YES I AGREE CYMBALTA HAS CHANGED MY LIFE AROUND NOT ONLY WITH DEPRESSION BUT IT REALLY DOES HELP WITH THE PAIN. TRUST ME I WAS TAKING 4 PERCOCET 10'S A DAY ALONG WITH WEARING A 50MG FENYTNAL PATCH AND THROUGH MY DETOXING IT HAS MADE IT A LIFESAVER I DONT EVEN CRAVE AS BAD...ALSO MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT IT A FEW WEEKS AGO I WENT OUT OF TOWN AND FORGOT IT I WENT ALMOST 4 DAYS WITHOUT TAKING IT YES I COULD TELL I HADNT HAD IT BUT NOT MUCH AT ALL. 90%OF ANTI DEPPRESENTS YOU WOULD HAVE WENT INSANE IF YOU TOOK THEM EVERY DAY FOR 10 MONTHS AND JUST QUIT ALL THE SUDDEN FOR 4 DAYS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT...START WITH 30MG FOR ABOUT 2WEEKS AND MAKE SURE ITS FOR YOU THEN STEP UP TO 60MG.... IT REALLY HELPS

i love my hydrocone and percs, but of course before i moved they werent doing it for me any more. my boyfriend always did a little coke or snort heroin (no needles) but then we started crack!!! WTF was i thinking? i'm an addict... i loved that feeling, i am a very self destructive person, and gulilt is my trigger ALWAYS, it's a big circle for me the more i F/UP the guiltier i feel, so i do more. Crazy to a non-addict, but just another day for me.

yup, I am trying the same approach...definitely helps with the mental aspect of withdrawals (and also with some of the joint/bone pain as well...doesn't do a whole lot for the sweats, runs, sneezing, etc).  I am gonna try AGAIN in 2 weeks to stop the brutal cycle I have created (annanicole smith thing has scared me)...what is your doc???  mine is mother methadone...God help me...but it sounds like you are on the right track...keep up the good work...wish I could taper, but I can't seem to be disciplined enough...God Bless you!!
