day 22 for me...day 2 for my cousin

good morning to all the people that are up,hope everyone is having a good morning,I am doing great and staying strong for myself and my cousin who is staying here during her w\ds.I am tring to get het to read this forum and understand that what she is going through is normal.I told her all about my addiction and w\ds and explained that this forum kept me strong and helped me through it all.I think she is doing wonderful. she flushed all her pills except her valium which is not her doc,she is using it for sleep at nights only,she says she will flush the rest in a couple days.I am worried about that because I don't know anything about valium,she is suppose to take 10mg but last night she took 15mg to sleep.I don't know if that is to much? She is dead set on getting over this addiction and I am so proud of her.I am going to help her through this all, like you all helped me!!! I just wish she would flush the valium.

plymouyhgirl, 22 days is awesome.  you are doing a great job and a great thing helping your cousin.  the valium is really not a bad thing during this time.  whatever it takes to get as little sleep.  and 15  mgs is okay too.  just so she flushes the rest in a few days.  keep us posted.

without deep sleep first 4-5 days there is no recovery...just watch the dose. 15mg should be her ceiling..make her use that tonight, tomorrow 10...then maybe 5...also get some natural sleep aids like sleep md...from cvs, gnc etc. I really does work...i use that with a .25mg xanax and its powerful...i dont like to take them either for sleep but i did during my w/d and i slept 7-9 hours during most of it, of course after the worst of the wd i sleep like **** now lol...but its coming back slowly.
