day 29

Still hanging on but have no motivation.
I started taking wellbutrin for depression around 2 weeks ago. I just lack energy. Maybe it's the meds. I want to stop taking them but I know it takes awhile for them to start working. .

hey dede ... happy 30 that is great stuff!!!!  you are doing so well.  its normal to feel how you are feeling.  I can really relate.  the others are right, you really have to force yourself, if you can, to exercise and do stuff.  even doing a little bit helps.  im here for you if you ever want to talk.  :)

Are you able to get out of your room and get some walking, sunshine or meetings in yet?  You'll probably have to "make" yourself....but the more you do....the better you will feel.

Hey Dede, congratulations on 29 days, in theory this is not long enough for you to have all your motivation and energy back yet : )

The good news is this is very normal !!!

It normally takes about 3-6 weeks for anti depressants to work, but generally 3 weeks is sufficient.

Well done, your going so well xx

Hey lady, Please give the medication time to work. My fear for you is that the depression causes your relapses. You need to find a medication that will work for you. So give it a little more time and if things don't improve then ask your doctor to try another med. It may take a little time but you will find something. Hang in there and keep talking..it does help.
