good for you. many people wont even start a detox exactly for that reason. they have caused themselves to build up so much anxiety in anticipation of what might happen, and how bad they will feel that the anxiety is worse than the actual withdrawal symptoms. your attitude is wonderful. great that you are bike riding. that is paramount in your recovery. exercise is so important to get produce the endrophins.
have you thought about any aftercare? therapist, group support, na/aa,church,addiction specialist.
