Lesser talked about side effects question

so here i am, 29/Male. on day 12 of cold turkey (15-25 Norcos a day) feeling better. thanks to lurking just about every post on here for the first 7 days of hell. but my question starts where most end.
two things.

1) How much longer am I going to go number 1 out of number 2 :/
2) Question for guys, I started taking them about 3 years ago. and noticed i could go all night long with a girl. now that I have quit, I'm lucky to last 10 minutes. when before i started it was much longer. has anyone else had or noticed this?

I understand these two questions seem stupid compared to everything else on here. I only ask these 2 because I've already found answers to everything else thanks to all of your posts.

Thank you.  It's funny because I said the same thing when I was first here at Day 5, and people with 30 days were posting.  It seemed like 30 days would never come... and now I can't believe the time is passing so quickly.  I guess because I fufill my life with all the other stuff I didn't do when concentrating on my pills..  Keep racking them days up..  keep posting with questions too if you need.  This site helped me sooo much.  Before this I never made it passed Day 5.   Make sure you keep hydrated too.

Wow! Congrats on day 56! I can't wait to see 56 days crossed off my calendar.

I'm almost home from the store now with the Imodium. I learned the hard way this morning that drinking White Russians at the bar are now on the 'black-list.'

foods that are binding will help. bananas, rice,applesauce,toast.
it is called the BRAT diet my pedicatrician always recommended it when my kids had diarrhea.
you can definitely have the runs, soft stools and stomach cramping for a month or more when stopping opiates.
your body will take time to heal.,emotionally,physically, spiritually and mentally.
congrats on your clean time.

The crying and up and down emotions are pretty common. Go with it...and be patient. It passes quickly in the scheme of things.

And get some Immodium tonight! You don't need to suffer that symptom...

Hey there.  My bathroom issues did not stop until about a month after.  It wasn't diarrhea all the time, but it was not like it should be, and it was all day.  I took 4 immodium a day for the first 2 weeks, then I took 1 for the next week, then 1 every other day for awhile.  I'm at day 56, and haven't had to take one in awhile.  
as for the sex life, I think because we dulled our emotions/senses/feelings with the pills, now we can feel everything like we should so that is probably why you are lasting the 10 minutes, not forever... which is normalish.  I was taking about 20 vicodin/norco/percocet daily...whatever I could get my hands on.

Thank you. and yes. it was way too much. I started taking it when i got bored of my job. I have a pretty active life that I still have to keep up with since the only person I've ever told was my brother. Man oh man, when your out and you have to go..YOU HAVE TO GO.

Last night was the first night i stayed asleep all night. I woke up this morning thinking it was a dream that i slept so good.

the part i wasn't expecting was the crazy emotional imbalance.. I had to leave the room when she was watching a sad show. change the radio when i sad song came on. I think i cried 20 quick times in 7 days and i couldn't tell you the last time I had cried previous to that.

Hi!  I'm a female but I can answer your questions.

You should take Immodium for the diarrhea. Take it after each time you go to the BR. Be sure your diet is a good one with plenty of fiber and keep yourself hydrated. The diarrhea will stop in a couple of days with the Immodium .

Everyone's sex life improves dramatically after a few weeks of being clean. Be patient right now and don't worry about it,okay?  You took a lot of Norco everyday so congrats on day 12!!
