... I'm so happy for you.   I can read your determination... my very best thoughts will be with you.  I know you will be OK.  Just remember how long it took you to get to this point.

I've heard matine say he also had a lot of energy, I guess it's the sub.   I want to buy some... wonder if I'll find some on sale tomorrow.  Not Sub... energy.  LOL... didn't want anyone to get nervous.

Was just checking in one more time before I left the house what a nice surprise to see your post.

You guys have been a buttress for me as well.  Don't know how I would have made it through w/o all of you.

Matt... I hope it's an easy transition for you

I hear alot about the sub..I did ask once before what it was. I know it must be something to help with the withdrawel of opiates.

If you don't mind I am really curious about this...I know a huge huge part of me does not want to substitute one for another. So that kind of is what I am asking. Many questions as well I may add, sorry.

What is it, what does it do, is it a safe alternative or is there also an addiction factor...are you monitored on this, (I assume it is also an oral medication?)

WHen I ask is it safe from addiction, I guess what I mean is..is it something that you will committ to only taken what is prescribed, and follow the directions to a T. Although, I imagine it depends on the person.

Let me ask it this way..I have never liked pills, always was afriad of drugs. Even when I had to be put on my anti-depressant, my pills for anxiety etc. I was always afraid to take them. I do not like anything that makes me feel sluggish. My poisin is the Vicodin..it just happened and before I knew it I am stuck where I am now. The vicodin never really gave me a "high" type of a feeling..more like an energy boost and I felt like I could do anything.

So if you don;t mind my asking what is it you are detoxing from, and this sub if you could explain it in more detail I would be so greatful. I am really stupid when it comes to prescription meds, all things considered, I really don't know anything about many of the drugs out there. Just the vicodin, and even those I didn't know much about until I came here.

Just really curious as I see my Dr. on Monday, and not sure what my alternatives will be.
Thank you for your time, and also CONGRATS to you. It must be a great feeling, and it sounds as though you are doing well on this. :)

Just a lil humor for ya, is all.

I re-read my questions, and looks to me as if I answered some of them myself! What an airhead I can be! ALthough, I am not in my right mind right now, so I am sure you all understand.

But seriously, any light shed on this "sub" would be appreciated.

Look forward to response/s.
