dying for help

i recently asked a easy way out question!! but the truth is im really struggling with this addiction!! my heart is soo broke because of the choices ive made>>> i belong to a wonderful church and they have no clue. to asamed to tellthat im a addict..i have  a beautiful daughter that has watched me be deathly sick and not know y! dont have the cash for rehab and cant leave her ... no support.. lost everyone that loved me because of my addiction. i was very active in n/a for 3 yrs and relapsed and has gotten wayyy worse! i will do any opiate including herion just to feel normal! i truely believe this is satans work and im really trying. its the w/ds i cant even fatam getin through AGAIN!! REALLY NED ANY HELP U HAVE!!! THANKS

My friend is dying. If he returns to north Louisiana there is no doubt in my mind he will die. Crack people are looking for him to sell more crack. law is watching him to bust him. He is facing court for charges but no evidence was found in his house. he may just be fortunate enough to not have jail time. His best chance of a future is to get far away from north louisiana. He has very little money (shocker). Please if someone can just point me in the right direction to find a half way house at least 1000 miles away i would appreciate it. He just got out of a 30 day inpatient treatment center and is clean and sober.

Just wanted to encourage you to keep fighting, it is definitely a rough road, but one that you can walk if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other. You can become the miracle that you were always looking for.....good luck and keep fighting back.

Thank you for being you, Gnarly!  I agree with you.  Sometimes I find myself praying for God to take something away, like WDs when I was going through that.  Then I remind myself to pray for strength instead!  That works SO much better!  God knows what we need anyway.  All we have to do is acknowledge Him, and He can see us through with that small bit of Faith!

Teira, remember that prayers don't go unanswered.  Sometimes when you think they are not being heard, maybe the answer is "no" or it will just take some time to see that it was answered.  

I'm saying a prayer for strength for you, honey!  It's going to be better. You will see, I promise.  Don't give up before the miracle happens, ok?

I read your post and it really hurts to see someone suffering from such pain. A lot of us have been there and we understand the pain, the sickness, and the hold that addiction has on people. It is good that you have god on your side and your believe in what he can do. Just keep praying and he will find a way to get you through this. We have all had shame and thought we could never overcome it but we can. Many a good people get drawn into this nasty disease and got lost. We had no idea what we were doing to ourselves and especially the great pain we would have to overcome to get to the end. None of us knew what we were getting into.

Now lets focus on getting back on track to what we know is right and that is getting clean and rebuilding our lives. The wd sickness is going to be there, but you can get through this, many have. It will be no piece of cake getting back, but you already  have god on your side.

It appears you know a lot about what you are facing with the wd, sickness and so on. Remember it will pass and try to think of good things on the other side. I always like to picture something beautiful and as I get closer to my goal I like to watch the beautiful sight get brighter and brighter bringing joy back into my life.

I will keep you in my prayers and remember there are a lot of nice supportive, strong and fascinating people here to help. I am usually here late at  night because I am having some trouble with insomnia right now. I am getting through though and once I can relax my mind I do get some quality sleep in the wee morning hrs. hi teira....im sorry I missed you earlier but im predominantly a night person on here so if you cant sleep mabe we can hook up.....I really feel your pain in your post...I am also a Christian addict and hid it well for many years
it wasent till the end of my methadone detox that my wife put me on the prayer chain at church....so then everybody new my plight...fortunately I go to a loving grace filled nonjudgmental church and was only offered love and support wile I went threw my withdrawals it helped to have so many praying for me....God will get you threw this....I learned to pray for strenth to get me threw what I had to go threw...I tryed praying for dileverence but it was Gods will that I go threw it and he meet me along the way...each time I reached an impass and couldn't go anymore
God would speak threw that soft spooken voice ""my grace will be sufficient for you...I begged for more but thats what he would give me each time I would hit an impass and couldn't go on...when I finely grasped hold of that scripture and let it sink in his grace was sufficient and each time he got me over what seamed like impossible odds
im happy you have God in your life....Jesus has much grace to give
his love is unconditional and he want to be right here with you in this mess....some get delivered...I have watched it happen others like me God had me walk threw it...if nothing else so I would see for myself just what it was about so I can help others with it...its no fun detoxing off any narcotic but methadone is particularly harsh.....oxy is no walk in the park ether right now your probably well into withdrawals if not to day tomorrow for sure ...prepare yourself to go threw this...look up the supplements in the thomas recipe to the right of the screen..
pray with all your heart and go to God completely broken thats when he dose his best work in us....try your best not to let fear into the equation its always worst in our minds then it turns out to be....do your best to keep a positive attitude when this is done oand over with you wont be chained to a pill bottle anymore ...right now we need to try and keep vyou as comfortable as possible ...hot soaks in the tub releave most of the withdrawal symptoms...dont under estimate this therapy...remember the next few days will be ruff but its only temporary get comfortable with the saying.....''you just got to be ok without being ok for a wile''.... it will serve you well over the next few days....keep posting for support and to let us know your progress...we all want you to succeed...I will add you to my prayer list tonight....pull close to God seek shelter with him pray for strength when yours runs out G od has much love and grace to give to those that ask it....I could have never made it off methadone if it wasent for God and this forum and all the support I got here...good luck on your journey back and God bless......Gnarly

So,no meth since yesterday?  You're not going to die...there are some OTC's that can help. Definitely get some Immodium. Start drinking water and gatorade...flush your system!

my last oxy 80 was 4 days ago and had a few methadones 4 to b exact yesterday!! ive detoxed from methadone before and took me 36 days!!! and still was sick so i started using again!!  how this addiction lies to you is unreal?? i dont know if im comin or going .. really.. feel like im goin to die,, im very desperate in some kind of miracle or even a little help

Those withdrawals are just a rotten rite of passage to freedom. Trust me,so many of us have been there and made it to the other side. None of us did it alone and made it,so talk to us and let us help.
