I took my last 2 vikes on May 3rd and now its the 15th, im 12 days clean. Minus going to the ER and having to get a shot of demerol for my migraine but that didnt set me back at all. All Im experiencing now is stomach aches, abdominal pain and depression and still some aches. Some days I just wanna jump up and go out and do things other times I just wanna sleep all day. I dont like being that way at all. Today I see my doctor but its to finalize her not taking my care anymore because shes tried to kill me lol a couple times, giving me meds I should mix with other ones and telling me its fine and she is also the one who got me into this whole addiction mess, including myself.

I have no energy to do anything, Im wondering if anyone is on any antidepressants that really helped them, Because Paxil doesnt work for me and I cannot take cymbalta.  


I hope this yucky feeling is over soon. the weather being cold and rainy doesnt make it any better for me. Easily depressed when it rains. I love the sun!! but who doesnt.

any suggestions would be great!

thank you for your post, yeah I have been through hell the past week. My doctor takes on too many patients and almost leaves me with a cold shoulder. I called her and told her I needed more Valium for my anxiety and it helps me sleep, and that I needed more Promethazine its a Nausea & Vomitting Med, She told me she couldnt fill it until she saw me which would be in 3 weeks, I was PISSED! she told me to go to the ER and get them filled. Now Im an EMT, well was, I worked on the ambulance and in the ER and no ER physician is going to prescribe a 22yr old 10mg of Valium..LOL. The Promethazine yeah that can be done. SO I was in the ER 3 days  in a row, with migraines, getting Demerol, Zophran (stops u from puking) and so on and so fourth. Finally after my last ER visit, I went straight to my doctors office, walked in and asked for the office manager, LOL now this ***** hates me, I told her I NEED MY MEDICATION! so I got to see the doc yesterday instead of June 7th, big difference when ya walk in pissed off, huh? So I got what I needed.She put me on Wellbutrin also, which I used to be on and worked good so we will see how that goes. I will be switching docs soon, but she just doesnt treat me right, or suggest anything.. i tell her whats wrong, she writes the script and im out, i dont like that. ANYWAYS. I hope ur doing well with what you are going through. BTW I have to drink caffiene for my headaches, if I dont I'll get a migraine and I need my coffee and my pepsi!! lol. she also put me on a higher dose of Clonidine my detox meds bc I still feel like ****, I have my days...Cant wait for it to be over. thank u for thinking of me, im here for you. xOxO-megan

CONGRADS ARE IN ORDER 14DAYS CLEAN.you should be proud, 16 more days you will have a month clean you can do it.   im so sorry about those migraines my friend has them really bad almost daily. those aches and pains in your stomach are paws you can get past those they will lighten up. was you seeing a dr. for depression before you started taking the vikes and going though the w/ds, or did you have 2 different dr. because if this dr. that has gave you the wrong meds might also be giving you wrong meds for your depression? your sleeping issues sounds like depression, usually when tou are detoxing its almost impossible to sleep without some kind of sleep aid. none of us like the way you do believe me you arent alone. i really feel that if this dr. is medicating you wrong you should ask for a referal and get another dr. but i dont know the situation? check those meds shes giving you at your pharmacy they can help you with that problem. jacqui805 gave me some good help when i first started on this forum so now i c an share with you it really will help. check out the the health page at the front page were you log in and check out these items: thomas recipe this was wrote buy a member of the forum fladdict .this is so great for replenishing your body with the good stuff the pills took away, PAWS1-3, amino acid protocal, and depression. i hope this works for you as its doing for me. why were you on the vikes anyway? injury or as myself recreational? i still have really bad day but here lately since i decided not to go cold turkey and just taper off a couple a day and NO SNORTING and the suppliments and vitamins, and watch the food you eat plenty of protiens, fish chicken and eggs no red meat!!! drink plenty of water and no caffine. well i hope some of this info will help your on your path to recovery.   best of luck and keep posting and let us help you if we can. p.s. really becarful about that dr.       sherri in nc

Exercise really is the best medicine.  I take Zoloft for depression and that helps me.  Maybe you could give it a try.  GL!

Talk to your new MD about neurontin it is used for seizures mostly But the medical profession has found that it also helps to prevent migraines as it is now believed that migraines are a type of seizure. Hope that helps. Goog Job !! Good Luck and God Bless.

I lost a job too and thought my world came to an end. God gave me a better one and I make much more, work is easier, and no travel. So you say you pray tommrow will be a better day. It will, if you don't pick up I promise.
As far as the first love goes. She will see with time that you are changing and I really think she will like the sober you.  Most people say they got thier sense of humor back and real smiles.

thank you for commenting back. it means a lot. I cant smile about  anything. Thats not me throwing a pity party, but My GF and I broke up. were on a break and its killing me bc I know she is when shes not with me,she told me "me or the vikes" i said her and she hasnt done anything but put me down and ***** at me, I have so many worries about her that its making this detox harder for me, in her head detoxing is just all mental. she thinks she knows everything. Anyhow.. I lost my job at the hospital due to me detoxing, im in the process of trying to find a new primary care doc to take over my care bc the one I have is crazy in the head and has only brought me down. Im stuck in the house. I have no one. I cant work until my depression, migraines, detox and anxiety is under control, no car, no money, no nothing, everyday is a struggle. its so hard to keep a strong mind. but ill get through it somehow. i know i need to think about myself right now but i dont wanna lose my first true love, everything just sucks. but i always pray that tomorrow will be a better day. thank u for the smile <3

Congrats to you !!! I know you don't have the energy but forcing yourself to take a brisk walk or some kind of exercise will help your body regain energy..I don't know how your sleep patterns are but when I quit i couldn't sleep for a a couple months..that doesn't help the energy thing at all. You could try a natural product also called 5htp..it is listed in the thomas recipe and is a mood stabilizer..I would give it a little while longer before you get yourself on an anti-depressant..I am not against them for those who really need them but what your describing goes with the w/d territory and will pass...especially if you force yourself to get moving and get some exercise..It has been crappy out but hopefully the sun will shine today..  You will start to feel better soon..Just think about the fact that you are off the meds...!!!
