Hi I would love to help you...but we need more info like Lisa said ...I detoxed off methadone and know what to expect if done right but there are to many variables involved to tell you what to do with the info you gave us...right now we mainly need to know what her dose is/was and how long she has been on it....has she been tapering off' or is she just jumping off a high dose...if you can answer these questions I can probably help you out....ill check back later on for your answers...good luck and God bless....Gnarly

I am the same right now, its hell on earth that stuff 30-50hr half life...Try tipping some out each week, its what i been doing. I still feel awful though, not sure i should be doing this but to go back up i need approval and it's a pain if i do it the pharmacy way.

Hello and welcome to the forum.  There are lots of things to help your daughter feel a little better during detox.  I do need a little more info, how much methadone was she on per day?  How long has she been taking it?  Is the methadone her drug of choice or is she trying to get clean from something else?  How long has she been on the methadone?  You have come to the right place.  I have detoxed off methadone and there are others here as well that have gotten off the methadone and there life is great and they have stayed clean.  I forgot to ask one more question   Is she comming of this cold turkey and if so why?  I have to tell you that you have come to the right place there are a lot of caring people here that will help you and your daughter.   So anywys I am getting tired and I think I am gonna go to sleep,
