I have heard of it on here, but honestly I don't know that it exists. I know that your doc can red flag you in his/her clinic so that no one else there will give you anything, but as far as some national system, there's not one. The DEA can watch you if you have been in trouble with meds or drugs, but you would likely know if that happened. If there was a red flag system in place in AR, I would have definitely been on it. DEFINITELY! And it never happened to me. Maybe someone will come along who knows for a fact about it, because I'd be interested in hearing about it from someone who knows for sure. Oh, also, I "think" a chain pharmacy like Walgreens or something can flag you in their system if you've been caught doctor shopping or whatever. Some states are implementing a system for all pharmacies to get on a computer together, but I don't think it's in place yet. That will cut out a LOT of doctor and pharmacy shopping if they actually do it. It would have to be a dandy sized computer system for every pharmacy in the country or even in a state to be on a general same system!!!
BUT..........like I said, I don't know anything for sure. I always kinda wondered myself though.
Not that i know of read some older posts about it?....
