Snorting pills is terrible for your nose and can do major damage. I got a deviated septum after a few years of snorting cocaine and oxys. It was the same for me..it didnt hurt when I was using but after stopping for a few days it was like a dry burning feeling almost like it was scabbing up. Ive known people who has even holes right through there septum and ended up having major surgery just to breathe again. It is best to stop this and never do it again. You dont want to end up having surgery trust me. And there not going to be nice and give you pain meds when your getting it fixed for drug abuse. They will treat you as that..and want you to remember the pain so you dont do it again.

ooops it submitted too soon..

Anyhow this man now speaks to highschool students about the dangers of prescription medications. He is now 28 years old and a very empathetic and compassionate addictions counsellor. He is my cousin. Evan is married with two children. He actively volunteers his community and doesn't blink an eye to share his story (pardon the pun).

I had a patient who got gangrene in his nose from snorting pills. When he first came in the hospital he was soooo sick. He was experiencing severe headaches and had a seizure because the infection caused swelling in his brain (encephalitis). He needed to have a special IV line put in his upper arm (PICC) so he could receive high doses of antibiotics several times a day. The antibiotics caused so much damage to his kidneys that he needs dialysis. You could actually smell the infection when you were talking to him. He had lost his sense of smell and was left with permanent facial paralysis. His eyelid droops and he can't blink his eye so it is always burning and dry . The infection took several weeks to resolve and it almost killed him. Nearly two years later he was able to have constructive surgery to rebuild his nasal septum. You may be wondering did anything good come out of all of this??

you really need to see a doctor,,you could have ulcers in your nose/nares and possibly an infection brewing. The lining of your nares is a thin mucosa and very sensitive. snorting pills is abrasive to the lining. so its like scratching that skin each time you snort a pilland its eating the lining. You are at risk for a potentially serious infection in your sinuses,,,keep in mind that can spread,,,to your brain.

Two things- you need to get to a place that can help you get your body unaddicted to percocet.  Also, have an ear, nose, and throat check your nose to see what kind of damage you may have caused and if anything can be done for your nose.
