have i damaged my nose?

hi im 18 and im a little worried that i may have caused damage or triggerd an ongoing nasel infection due to snorting drugs. for a year i was quite heavily into speed and pills as well as cocaine and you name it iv probably done it (nothin to be proud of)
my way of doing it was crushing up the pills into lines and snorting them (same with the speed), i think this probably did far more damage than the cocaine but i got to the stage that i actually liked the burn. iv stopped snorting pills and speed and i only do cocaine on the odd occasion but my nose has never really recoverd. iv constantly got a dripping nose and i get what i call 'tingles' all the time at the back of my nose it feels like its inside my face?? im a bit too embarrasd to go to my family doctor becasue of my age and the fact im supposed to be a young lady!!!
could this just be an ongoing nasel infection or am i solely to blame? any advice or anyone who's had a similar thing i wuld really appreciate it cheers x

it took my nose about a year when i stopped snorting. i would see a dr if bothers you to bad.

hello, first of all, how long have u been snorting drugs?. i used cocaine for 5 years and my nose is now permanately damaged. i blew my septum 6 months ago and i don't want that to happen to you.  i hate to tell you this, but the nose dosen't heal, i have done research about it and once those holes are made, they don't come back, the good news is that the rest of you will heal.  please please get some help, because cocaine will kill you.  not only are you snorting lines of coke, but whatever it is cut with such as baby laxative, baking soda, even drywall, im not kidding. you are so young and im glad to see you posted because one of the hardest steps to get off drugs is to admit you have a problem and then get help. unfortunately i waited 5 years of doing coke almost everyday and realizing i could not stop, until i got help. if you have any questions, feel free to ask, this is one drug i do know a lot about, and it breaks my heart to see someone going through this, i know what its like, its hell. take care and gl

I think i messed up my nose too..I used to think it was a deviated septum but its gotta be from the coke...I have been using on and off for about 5 years...not everyday...at first it was once a month, maybe once every two months...then started being every weekend on a saturday...then we would stop for a while(months) and all of a sudden do it again...I don't know what it is with that drug...Its the only thing I do...I don't smoke, very rarely take a pill...when i was 20 i experimented with x and acid and smoked pot and took pills to come off the others but that stopped all in the same year and i never did those again...this one is a hard one to kick....

You could have a serious nasal infection from the drugs,by all means get to the doctor. You have got to quit snorting pills or you will have holes in your nose. If you want to quit doing coke you have to quit associating with people that do. Trust me on this once you get away from them you won't miss them. I was able to quit by doing this,did'nt see those friends for a long time. It's been years now and we still talk but none of us do coke anymore all because we quit seeing each other and moved on. Get away from the people who do it and you wont do it. Coke is a bad bad drug it will take everything from you.
Your young and have just begun to start living don't waste it on that stuff.

I have nose damage too. I'm not 18, but I wish I was. I too am ashamed for a Dr. to look up my nose. If there is anyone in life you should be honest with it's your Dr. I hope this helps but I'm sure Dr's have probably seen much worse than your nose. I'm sure it probably won't phase him at all. You could always go to another Dr. other than your family Dr.
