I didn't have much heartburn, but what I did get was a chronic dry cough that turned out to be caused by reflux. So though the reflux didn't cause the cause heartburn, it apparently was the underlying cause of the cough, but no other more typical symptoms (like heartburn). I started taking a PPI & the cough has mostly gone away.

My rehab facility put just about every opiate addict going through withdrawals on Prilosec OTC for about 2 weeks. Worked wonders. Plus, it's nonaddictive and perfectly safe.

perfectly normal i had zero heartburn, and zero rls!!! Mainly cravings and anxiety.  Im still 3 days ahead of you and great job on staying 3 days behind me still!!!! My day 17 was kinda bad but overnight it was 1000% better for some reason. My day 20 was the first time i actually felt like my old self and its getting better everyday!

each individual reacts different to wds, to each medication, basically everything, so it is quite possible that the wds could have some effect on the heartburn or could be part of the cause. It is also day 17 though, I guess it could possibly be lingering effects, but it really shouldn't now have to do with actually wds. Like I said the wds could have played a role in starting it or adding to it, but since its far enough along without opiates, you may want to just keep an eye on it. If it gets worse I would maybe have a doctor take a  look. I dont know if you have tried anything else, but I have been told by many and I myself find it to be extremely helpful for that exact problem, but Tagamet (Cimitedine) can be bought generic or brand name OTC at any Walgreens, CVS, etc.. I hope it goes away and you can truly enjoy seeing and living your life sober and clean, its amazing
