The drs. office just called me.  Want to send me to a pain management clinic.  Wanted to refill my pain meds as it will be rough going.  I told them i am NO LONGER taking that ****.  Oh you cant do that is what i heard.  What pharmacy do you use......NONE THANK YOU.  Do they not hear me?  I finally told them to take me off their computer and said thanks for calling and hung up.  That is NOT what i wanted to tell them i assure you.  As i go thru the withdrawals the pain i thought i had isnt there to even need an advil.  Never thought i would be taking vitamins instead of my narcs.  It felt good to tell them NO.  My dad who was a recovering alcholic for 24 yrs always said the majority of the time is day to day but once in awhile it was minute to minute and that got better over time.  Dad i hope you are watching over me!!!!

Wow thats str. I sometimes dont think I could quit if i was able to get pills from drs. instead of on the streat. I used recreational and it was hell trying to get them every 2 days on the streat but if i had scripts filled i dont..... BAH fawk minds in pill mode brb going to take a drive around the block to calm down.

Well, considering how free those docs are, give yourself a HUGE pat on the back girl!  That's some strong-will, and I'm personally proud of ya!

i always told them i had such bad pain in my back and hip to get my meds so they think i need more help.  Guess the only pain i had was all in my head.  The docs in this neck of the woods are all about meds.  Go in for a cold and you get codeine.  Suppose to surpress the cough.............There is one certain medical health profession that is taking over the state and into other states now and we are like cattle....get em in and give em drugs and ship them out.  Questions have been raised if they have their hand in the pharmacuetical companies.  Hope this explains some of your questions.

That is so weird to me.  I've never had a doctor call me wanting to refill my meds. and telling me that I can no longer take them.  Every doctor I have delt with never pushed anything on me.  I think they preferred me not being on them.  I don't get it?
