Hi Nat,

Yes, an addiction to Fioricet is a possibility.....in case anybody is wondering about another med....Fiorinal is basically the same thing...the only difference is that Fiorinal contains aspirin to Fioricet's acetaminophen (Tylenol).  

Just like most potentially addictive substances Nat...it is possible for that addiction to be physical, psychological, or both.  Butalbital is the drug within the medication that is the barbituate.  Dependence and tolerance to the substance is a high possibility.

fiorocet is a barbituate sedative mixed with a non-aspirin pain med and caffeine.it's a non-narcotic pain med and relaxant.it is addictive if thats what your trying to find out.i did read more about this drug as i've never heard of it,and no i dont think it has codiene in it
