help...gonna start oxycodone withdrawal

Hi. I'm 42...been on oxycodone 30 mg 5 times a day for 3 years now...sometimes I take 3 in the morning and 3 before bed...it's ruining my life...and it's not that I just want to take these..that's not it at all...I have HIV which in turn has caused me sever neuropathy of both legs and I have severe arthritis of my lower back and hips.  I've had every test done for this and there a nothing they can do...that's why dr. Started me on oxy 10mg then we've increased over time.   I don't know where to start first.  I'm embarrassed what my family may say...I'm embarrassed for my own self...but I know I need a clean slate.  I guess I need to deal with my pain naturally but I don't know how....what do I do? My script is to run out tomorrow. I have 9 left and I don't know whether to take them..or start now....HELP.!!! I'm in NJ

I was taking about 150 mg/day for 2 years.  I tapered off to 30 mg a day, then jumped off.
Obviously you don't have enough to do that.  You could spread what you have left out, or just flush them.  It won't be fun, but doable.  
Look up the Thomas Recipe on this site.  Treat yourself very kindly.  
It probably took me 4 weeks to get over the fatigue.  Still don't sleep well after 3 months, but i know that will come.
I have never, even for a day, wish I hadn't have quit taking them.  You won't either .  The freedom of no more counting pills at the end of the month is wonderful!
And, as everyone will tell you, plan some aftercare.

Thank you so much...it's been 2 days now. Starti g...well going thru some pretty bad withdrawal symptoms but..I'm sticking to this cuz I need to get my life back...I cheated once and took a 10mg oxy to help cut the terrible leg pain which I have caused by neuropathy...but it did nothing so I didn't take anymore....

Ouch, 90mg of oxy at a time? Normally I'd just say flush them and be done. But that's a really high dose,can you talk to your doc about a taper plan? You can go cold turkey but if you can taper off that extremely high dose I'd try. Keep posting here and we will help you the best we can!

Plus I would recommend getting into a recovery program. The w/d's are hard,but it's the mental stuff we struggle with the most. Oxy was my doc too, I'm 10 months clean and still go to meetings. They've saved my life.
