heroin and ambien mixing

why does my son inject heroin and then mix it with ambien?I'm just a learner.Doesn't heroin make you want to stay awake?And ambien puts you to sleep?

Hes trying to enhance the effects of the Heroin with the Ambien. Its very dangerous.

For some people it does...but I dont think that's why hes taking the Ambien though. Just my opinion anyway. (Im an ex heroin addict)

I'm thinking that your son is in dire need of detox and rehab. Shooting these drugs up is not good. Try and get him some help.

Hello mom and welcome. Heroin and ambien are both central nervous system depressants.
Taken together it is  very dangerous as they both depress the respiratory and central nervous system.
How old is your son? Does he live with you? How long has he been
Abusing drugs for?
