Day One Withdrawal

Hi  I new to this only been signed up for a day.

Has anyone experience hot skin, I'm withdrawing from Norco.  My skin fells like it is on fire to touch.  I'm either really cold but my skin still is hot to the touch.  It's weird and its driving me crazy.  I can't take offf work so I have to bear this all day long and of course night with the simpons of w/d.

when I had w/d's and had to work I made sure I wore something as comfortable as I could and what was allowed. I bought gas strips, immodium, tums, I would take motrin.
I drank allot of tea. Fresh fruit, rice, crackers. But if you feel that bad think of missing this way... If you had the flu real bad, you'd call in. Treat this like that b/c you want to be able to take care of yourself. You want to be clean.The few days miss are well worth it.  But if it means losing your job for some reason then I guess it's a tough decision.

I too am going through withdrawl, I am on day 3.  I think that's the one physical problem affecting me the worst now is either being hot of freezing.  Unfortunatly there is nothing you can do but deal with it.  I am also having a few gastrointestinal problems, but not too bad yet.   It hasn't been too bad yet, I keep waiting for it to get worse, which I know it will.    But those in our position must keep in mind, this is for the greater good, imagine not being a slave to a pill.  They say "It is always darkest before the dawn" and I don't think that is any truer than in our situation.  Keep going, I know I will.

Hot & cold is very common. Burning too, RLS and itching. Get some Immodium just in case you need it. Withdrawals at work are no fun!. Ibuprofen may help some.
