sleeping nitmare

I been taking about 1 7.5 norco in the late afternoon for about 3 years. Will take one about 6 nights a week. Last night I skipped it and I felt like I was going out of my skin trying to go to sleep. Eventually I did nod off. Worse night I had in some time. Ive never taken a valium but I did last night for only the second time in my life to help with the anxiety of beginning the journey to quit. Maybe this was the valium. Any thoughts?

only time Ive ever done it during the day was for a root canal 2 years ago and for two days in Hawaii sunbathing with my wife. I realize if I ever started I would rationalize it during the day also. My reason for taking it at all is for the sleep. It really makes me sleep so well. Thats why Ive having a really hard time convincing myself if I want to stop. A 7.5 is getting weak however but havent upped the dose unless I eat beforehand and than its only 1/4 of another tablet. I know it's still an addiction however. Funny how the mind works. No w/ds during the day but very much so in the evening.

you only take 1 at night?  not any during the day?
