my sister is a crack addict she is pregnant now she wants to get clean how long does crack stay in a fetus
there are no physical withdrawals from crack, it is all mental. she should stop immediately which is much easier said than done but she also needs to talk to a dr. i really know nothing about pregnancy issues. the only thing i know from personal experience is that the withdrawal is all mental when it comes to crack.
You know, I said there are no w/d's from crack, but I have no PERSONAL experience. I'm sure there will be others along soon to comment. It might be a different situation when a fetus is involved. Hang tight... the masses will be along shortly.

The w/d's from crack are minimal if any, from what I heard while I was in treatment, but she needs to talk to her doctor and see what the risks are.
He's not necessarily going to advise her of a 'taper' protocol, but he might be able to advise her on the best way to go about it.
Urge her to talk to her OBGYN, and good luck to you both.
