well just found out through blood work my testosterone is low also, doctor office said its probably from my drug use, making appointement to dicuss with my family doctor could this be whats causing me to be tired feeling? not sick or nothing just feel weak and no drive to to things!!
thanks for all the comments, really appreciate it! will try the amino acid also, just got done running 5 miles, i exercise every day, really need to start eating better though, its hard to eat right where i work away from home, just wandering how long it takes our brains to heal! also quit drinking caffiene 2 weeks ago, it was hard to quit drinking coffee! all i drink is water all day long, just really tired no drive at work this week, also my brain just feels sore not as bad when i first stoped its getting better now it just comes in waves it wont hurt for like hours then all the sudden headachs
just wandering if it does get better with my drive my will to get stuff done, either way like fireby29 said its better than taking pills! god bless!!
For me, exercise and eating right has been key at the 4 month mark. I'm not perfect, but I try to supplement with a quality amino acid and protein supplement, eat veggies and fruit, and stay away from processed foods. I think doing that given our brains the best chance to get better as soon as possible. I have given myself a year, I figure it will take about that long for me to be normal....whatever that may be. Either way, no pills is better.
Congrats on your clean time.

And to add to CATUF"s comment....It also helps to eat healthy foods.
Take a look at the book Healing the Addicted Brain, by Harold Urschel. A book that helped me a great deal was End Your Addiction Now, by Charles Gant, which is all about getting your neurotransmitter levels right via the right amino acids.

Maybe you can start watching all the games with that friend. If you can't make a meeting, at least you can hang out with people that understand. Keep on doing what you're doing, it all comes together. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but it always materializes if we work for it.
