Hey, I'm so glad u found something that works. I couldn't find anything that would knock me out for more than an hour or two when I'm goin' through withdrawals. Even perscripted sleepin aids, like Restoril. Never used Unisom though. I will definitely try it next time. How are u doing? What day are you on. I'm still taking 2 pills one day then going about 2 or 3 days without then 2 or 3 pills one day then 1 or 2 days without. Not havin' withdrawals this way, other than craving a pill. One day I'll get over it. Hopefully. :( Reply back k? Take care and god bless, Lil. :)
keep your head up man..i have the same problem with doing it one day and then not the next...except that i do have wd symptoms...it is a horrible thing to live this way...i am going to the doctor on monday to get prescribed saboxone...also i think that people forget why they started using pain meds...if it is related to an injury then that is a whole other situation but if it is related to a trauma or something like that i believe that if you find out what is causing you to be addicted, it will be eaiser to quit. luckly and unluckily for me i do know why i take pain meds...so finally facing my problems that made me do this stupid **** in the first place may make me a whole person again...stay strong everyone...peace
Or you could take Melatonin, its a naturally occurring hormone found in the brain, and it works like a charm, every time.
And the up side is that its not a drug.
how do you feel the next day after taking these sleep aids? Is it refreshing sleep or is like a druken sleep, you know when you come home from a bar and the bed is spinning, LOL that *****
When I have taken Unisom, my experience is you do wake up pretty foggy.
With melatonin, if you dont take too much, you wake up feeling pretty restful. I think all sleep aids- natural or not- have a risk of making you feel drunk in the morning.
Valerian is really good for sleeping as well.
