what are you taking the vicdin for?? You are at a moderate dose. I would try cutting down over a few weeks and then see how you feel.. If you find you can't wean off them. take a week and go cold turkey. Withdrawals generally last about 5 days, with days 3-4 being the worst. Symptoms seem to peak at about 48-72 hours. With tapering you can slowly reduce the dose to minimize the severity and lenght of the withdrawal symptoms.
As far as the preganncy, I would really try to get off before you get pregnant if possible. there is a 50% chance the baby will have withdrawals after delivery if you take it everyday.
It is not a good idea to take the meds during pregnancy. You are not on a very high dose and could fairly easily just stop taking them. Or, you could cut back.
Do yourself a favor hun, think about your life and the new baby's. You have a chance now. Take it.
Thanks for the post.
