Ive done the immodium (lopermide) taper, if thats what you speak of...
It did actually help immensely considering the silliness of it all.
The taper works because lopermide is an actual opiate, but doesnt pass thru the blood brain barrier, so will NOT  get you high. You do need an access amount of pills to do the taper....i think some people took around 16 twice a day. I believe I took 10 twice a day and tapered down from there. I wasnt too bunged up either, if your wondering about that. If you have any questions, google lopermide and withdrawl together and a lot will come up. Best wishes.

No it will help with your diarrhea and cramping you are sure to have.  With my experience it had no effect on overall withdrawl symptoms.  You use the word safely.  Most experts will tell you that oxy withdrawl is never fatal.  uncomfortable yes.  Put it this way you are far more likely to die taking oxy then stopping it.

Hi and welcome. To answer your question, No, It only helps with the Diarrhea associated with detox but it has nothing to do with getting you off Oxy. Are you wanting to stop? We can help give advice if you tell us more about how much your taking? How long? If you want to stop c/t or taper.
