flexeril is extremely sedating. in combo with hydrocodone, the answer is NO it wouldn't be a good idea to drive.
Sam is right, my brother in law is a cop and he can and would be arrested if he was using and got in a accident or was pulled over and they suspected something. It does not matter if he is prescribed them- he would still be considered to be under the influence.
I am guilty of that and it would probably qualify for a driving under influence if they could tell and nope it is not safe....No different than drinking and driving...
It only takes once to wake you up to reality that would be one of about 100 reasons why I am getting off lortab....
I get in an accident I lose a very good job and any other devasting thing that could happen like loss of our kids, lives and other folks driving.
Just my thoughts he needs to come to this reality as I have thought however often it takes many levels of reality of use of these pills..
When you first begin taking any pain med you have the tendency to get light headed and dizzy, over time this goes away. I was prescribed for chronic and sereve pain. After the first couple months it no longer affected me in that way. I would not take my meds before I took my kids to school. If you're concerned talk with him. If that is not possible you need to consider other options since it is dealing with the safety of your son.
Good Luck-
