i have been taking vics and perks also mixing them with somas, for tha last week...i took my last 2 10-650 percocets and 2 somas last night. i just took 2 10mg methadone pills right now... and im wondering should i have not takin them? please help!
im sorry I should have made my statement a little bit clearer. i have been addicted to pain meds for tha last 6 yrs. i went to a detox center in April, and continued on to a outpatient program where i took suboxone. i was clean for about 3 months, i had a toothache one day and i took 2 percocets... and well, here i am again. Its not as bad as it use to be, but the fact that i am still taking them "every now and then" weighs heavy on me. im glad that i found this site, where i can talk to others that really do understand me. and what i am going thru. I pray every night, that i can get thru this. I have 2 boys 6 & 1, and i want better for myself so i can do better for them. i wanna stop cold turkey, i just dont wanna feel like ****.. i want tha old me back. i dont wanna have to have a pill to feel "normal"... gosh now i am crying. i kno the mixtures are dangerous.. i just dont want to live like this any more..i will chat later, i have become real emotional right now..Goodnight and thank you......from a addict named Nicole, trying to live a clean and sober life.
Welcome to the forum. you should start your own thread by going to the post a question box above where it says Back to Forum.. You will get more support and advice this way.. You will not feel Methadone wd as if you were taking it regularly but You are felling the hydro wd Stay away from the trams as they will prolong the misery and they have the added benefit of a antidepressant effect.. Hope you are committed to staying clean.. lesa
Personally I think you will be fine if you don't take anymore methadone. If there is a little withdrawls just be thankful that its not worse. Good luck!
I've been addicted to hydrocodone. Last time I touched hydro was last sat round noon. I woke up Sunday, hurting like hell, so I took four tramadol. Took the edge off. I decided to quit CT. So Sunday night I took 20mg of methadone to mitigate the W/D symptoms. It's now Tuesday afternoon and I can def feel the W/D symptoms but the methadone seems to be covering it up descent. My question is, now that I've takin methadone to help with WD will I WD off the 20mg of methadone In a few days?
Very well said. That was the understanding that I had. They only took Meds for a week!! And now Methadone. Maybe we misunderstood. Anyhow, goodluck and remember that Methadone can kill you. Used it for a year and it almost took my soul.

Am I correct that you have only been taking these pills for a week? Perhaps I misunderstood...otherwise you should have no need for the methadone, which is a very strong opioid that is also very dangerous....please be safe.

Careful with that stuff. And I have to agree with jimmy on this one 20mgs of METHADONE would probably get an elephant high. I must admit compared to the dose that alot are on, 20 mgs is a small amount but for someone that has been taking opiates for a short time Methadone isn't needed. Just strong will. You have to want to be clean. Try to research things before you take them because it could be fatal. Good luck and stay off the Methadone unless there is no other alternative!

For some people, per the methadone clinic doctors, 40-60mg. can potentially be lethal - back in the day, 20mg. got my fiance and I high often.
There are some natural remedies that will help to alleviate some of the symptoms of withdrawals - check out the health pages on the right side of the screen. In my journals, I also have a variation of the Thomas Recipe that includes only natural ingredients and it worked wonders for my fiance and I.

I bet you did !! You are lucky you have not killed yourself mixing the way you are.. How long have you been taking pills regularly and how many ? Yes you can stop. Yes there are things you can do that will help. Yes we can help you also. in fact I for one em very glad you found us.. I hope you are committed for it would be such a shame to loose your life to drugs.. lesa

yeah..i got high! it *****! i wish i could just stop all together! this **** *****! i feel as if i have to continue takin the pills so i dont get sick when i stop? is there anything i could do to help with tha withdrwals..?
HI ....if you only been taking pills for a week you really dident need the methadone you cant get high on that amount and you shouldn't have withdrawals if you only used for a week
