lost track

so I am either 300 some days or 4 days.....lost tracker...People tell me cause I had to go back on pain pills due to the fractures from my horse throwing me that I have not lost any sober days. Well that may be true but for me having to go on them again (which I did not abuse) I feel better starting over. I could feel my addictive mind starting to come back so I stopped taking them. I am in a lot of pain but wanted to stop before my mind took over again. I worked really hard the first time and had severe with drawls.  I guess due to having with drawls again I feel the need to start over but at least they are not any thing like last time. 4 months since my accident feeling better but still in pain.
    I am taking it 1 day at a time and with support can get threw this! Will I ever ride again?? That is the question! lol I have never had so much pain in my life but who knows...
I also wanted to let those who followed my detox the first time with me having to watch my step-mom so much that we lost her on June 1st.
Love you all and we can do any thing we set our mind to!

Hi well if your taking the meds because you need them it is ok just so you take them as prescribed ...I had to tell my doctor not to prescribe then no mater how much pain I was in I take them as directed and in 3 days it is game on.. try not to stay on them anny longer then you need keep posting for support......................Gnarly...............................

Thanks and I do like the Chargers BUT I am a life time Bears girl!!! Now if they can just play football this year all is good! Hopefully Cutler does not break a finger nail playing! lol

Great job Bearsfan.   I know so many folks have so many ideas on clean time, and they are all very well intentioned.  And...   I understand your dilemma.  The day I stopped taking suboxone, I took Tramadol & took it for 4 days.  Found out Tram was highly addictive & stopped immediately.  Now...  do I count my clean time from the last Sub or from the last Tram?  Well, for me personally, I started counting my days from my last dose of Sub.  That was the medication I needed to jump from, and I feel very confident & comfortable with my decision.

You do what you feel is best for you.  The WAY IMPORTANT thing is you recognized the symptoms and took action.  And again...imo, you didn't abuse, you had a valid reason.  I think your at 300+     : )

Now....   if we can just get you to start supporting the Chargers....  America's team.  The Bears don't need the help, Chargers do.

You have do what feels right for you.  If you feel the need to start over then do so.  The really important thing here is you didnt abuse but the "stinkin thinkin" came back and you were all over that and stopped.  You did real good in identifying the trouble that may of come your way.  Hopefully the pain will ease up now.  I am so sorry to hear about your stepmom's passing.  One day at a time my friend~
