PLEASE HELP Suboxone withdrawl

I will try to spare everyone the drama >> LONG STORY SHORT>>>  I have been on 24mg Suboxone for all of 6 months (8mg 3x/day) due to insane DOC-patient dynamics I literally told my doc to **** off!  on my way out of his office he asked me how many pills I had left- I told him 3 (8mg)-  I was told to take 2 the fallowing day and 1 the day after.  I came home to research what I was about to go through ( I'm not a stupid girl )  from what I can tell its not looking good for me.  Anyways after coming to the conclusion that its not going to be possible for me to tapper that fast, ( i am a single mother of a 16 month old, I receive no child support, no help in any way shape or form for that matter)  I need to work and I am truly my daughters only playmate.  ANYWAYS I call the DOC and asked very nicely if he would be will to tapper me properly- I was told basically the tapper he gave me was legal  ( I am thinking barley if at all )
I need to know what I can do that will help me stay on me feet and not in the corner willing the world to end.  I fearfull my daughter is about to suffer right along with me...and i can't have that.  So please if you are out there ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS WILL BE WELCOMED WITH OPEN ARMS AND AN OPEN MIND.

21 days and im bored outta my mind.you sober up and find theres not much in your life.its a beutifull day in long island and im glad not to be sick or worry about being sick but its also getting old

No one said you have to be on welfare to be considered indigent. I was in rehab with a lawyer and a pharmacist. Neither had insurance and were both taken as indigent cases.

Good for you if you are done and if you can ward off the demons and the cravings without support, then best of luck to you. I pray that you make it.

im on my 16 day today and feel preety good.all i was saying was that the rehabs will take you if your indigint but what if your not ready to be on welfare and you work and dont wanna just collect a check from the state?no need to be concerned for me though im done but the urge will probably never go away

I do know that there is no way to stop you if you want to get high. I took me several rehabs and several trips to jail (specifically the tombs twice) to get clean.

So you will either die out there in an abandoned building in the alphabet jungle or you will get sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Don't blame the meetings, that is a cop out. I started in the fellowship first in 1987 and I haven't bought any drugs at a meeting yet.

As far as treatment, most centers take indigent cases and if you want it, you can find a place.

I am honestly concerned for you and hope you find your way.

in patient treatment?i live in n.y. when i went down there they basically told me i had to get on some kind of public assistince to pay.I dont like meetings either cause it seems a good place to score,i think the only way is to really want it .Im 32 years old i have collapsed veins and nothing to show for all the money i made,this kind of thing helps and i appreciate ur advice but if u used to do dope then you know that theres no stopping sum1 who wants to get high

First this is an old post and it would be a good idea to start a new one, your own, to talk and let people get to know you.

Heroin is my doc and I can say it one of the hardest to get and STAY clean from because it is not just the drug but it is the behavior that goes along with it that is addicting.

Have you considered in-patient treatment? If that is not financially possible I have to suggest intense aftercare so you re-lear those behaviors, learn how to live drug free and get to the core issues that have you using in the first place.

i shot heroin for five years was on suboxone for to,i recently went 8 days without sub then panicked and got a few 8mg subs.this was a bad idea,i thought it would help but it didnt i will say i am now on day 14 and am feeling preety good,even sleeping a little.it seems now i have to deal with the mental aspect ,i went back to work last fri and got paid for the day.It was hard not to get a few bags,i dont think the novelty of shooting up and the heat rush u get from it ever goes away.Anyway if your goin through withdrawl try b12 ,fish oil and bike riding to get the kick out of your legs good luck all laters

My sub doc is my PCP and I live in a small town and would have to travel every far to see another SUB DOC and they probabley wouln't get me in for weeks any ways

IS it possible for you to see another dr and tell him what happened? Even if you could get in to see your regular GP , he/she could give you some meds to help with the w/d.
