withdrawal from benzo's can last a long long time....or for some people, there's not problem at all. the best method is to do a taper as everyone else suggested. luckily valium is the drug of choice for a taper. the next step is to discuss a taper plan with your doctor. whats your dose?

a proper taper will take quite some time to complete. usually they do not drop you more than 10% per week, if i remember right. make a plan with your doctor and let us know how you're doing!

I hope you respond back. I agree with everyone above. There should be a taper of the meds because of the risks envovled such as seizures. Feel free to send a note or respond back. There are a great deal of support here for you.

Not easy to answer.  Are you tapering?  What dose and for how long?  You really have to taper valium.
