naltraxone implant not dissolving

I got my naltraxone implant on april this year and was wondering how long does it usually takes to fully dissolve because in october 19 this year I;ve had the implant for 6 months and my implant is still really big and hasn't gone smaller. Could this be because I tried to inject herion for like over a month everyday even though I couldnt feel the drugs? (I got a taste but just couldn't feel it) I guess its just the thrill of doing it cause I've been on herion for like 10 years.
Right now I have stopped using cause I couldn't afford to keep spending money on it.

Yea its suppose to dissolve as far as I know and no I cant go back to the doctor who gave me the implant because I got it done when I was in a rehab centre and I ran away from there and when I got the implant I was out of it and didnt get a chance to ask any questions.
And no I'm not going for counselling anymore

Hey there,
Im not sure how quick they are meant to dissolve, is it possible to go back to where u had it inserted and ask them for advice? Did they not offer u any after care? If not go and show your doctor just to be on safe side. Hope its ok.

Are you sure it's supposed to dissolve?  Some implants are removed and replaced.

Sounds like it's working though, althoughinjecting H while on it is still a stupid thing to do, because you can still OD even though you don't get high. You just cause respiratory failure.   Not fun when your stoned, not fun sober either.
Are you going for counseling still?
