Sure - - - A lot of willpower and a strong and disciplined character. Some decent nutrition and some sleep. New friends. Another interest in things to do. A bank account with something in it. A boost in self esteem with an activity - such as volunteering with the Red Cross, Heart Association, Boy Scouts, anything along that line. Knowledge - learn as much about the enemy as you can. Meditation, tai chi, cho gong, accupunture, accupressure, stretching exercises. Any kind of physical activity..............you should get the idea.....
I guess to be blunt there is no direct cure, but with some help and serious commintment quitting can be done. Crack is extremely addictive and i watched many destroy their lives, but there are ways to get and stay clean. Is this question for you? I do believe most crack addicts need inpatient rehab to learn tools on how to beat the intense cravings and learn to live sober.
I don't really have any advice but to try and seek god..He can and will cure you of everything you want to be cured from!!! I wish you the best of luck!
I had never smoked crack but I use to shoot crank for 2 years.. I walked away went through the fatigue ugly moods irritation/agitation/anxiety/depression and weight gain.. had to let go of a whole group of drug buddies and broke off a relationship with my shooting partner.. I guess what it boils down to is how bad do you want to stop.. wishing you well on your journey and welcome to the forum.. lesa
