You need to get that tooth looked at before it abcesses!! Can you not make an appt w/ that dentist? Don't know your circumstances re: dentist but I know how exruciating tooth pain is and wish I knew how to help. If it becomes an emergency, they should see you right away! I hope the meds you have can help! My thoughts are out there with you!

definetly have that tooth looked at. I found that buying a tube of extra strength orgel, pouring directly into the hole in the tooth or around the gum line, then closing my mouth, blocking the tooth with my tongue, breathing ONLY through the nose and just praying for the pain to stop, seemed to work, whatever you do, stay away from the ice cream :)
Just hearing about tooth pain turns my tummy, if you call the Dr and tell them you are in severe pain they will fit you in. You will have to sit in the waiting room for a bit, but they will make time.
Hope your tooth feels better :)
i can make an appointment but it will be at the earliest tuesday. the walk in place doesnt really take appt. if you call they can tell you a time frame but you still may be there all night. you generally just have to be there super early. so i guess i put it off til tuesday or wednesday to see mine.
well got a hold of my dentist right before they closed they put me in at 8am tommorrow which sucks cause i gotta leave home by 7 to get there. then i have to be at work by 1pm. it will be a long day thats for sure..
That is tough but if the tooth gets worse that will REALLY suck! Hope you're feeling better tomorrow after you see the dentist. Good luck!
that is great to hear :)
Long yes, but busy... busy is good right, keeps you thinking of other things :)
me too, the pain is making me nauseous..its dull and shooting all at the same time.. getting up at 630 to go to the dentist should be fun..
i am kinda hoping we can wait to fill it or whatever til next week. i have an allergy to metals so when i get shots of novacaine i swell up like crazy. i am modeling in a fashion show friday night...don't think the designer would be too happy if i showed up like that...
I know that this sounds gross but it was advice from the dentist as a temporary fix...but have you ever tried to chew an asprin with the bad tooth so that you get the med right up in there where it hurts? My husband is battling a really bad cavity right now and he refuses to go to the dentist. He is absolutely terrified of them. So he is doing the orajel thing. I couldnt even tell you how many tubes of that stuff we have gone through in the past couple of weeks, but I tell ya what, if he keeps it up I am going to start buying stock in it so that I can earn some of my damn money back. LOL!
no i have never tried that. have never had much luck with orajel. this side is sensitive anyway. i had the molar behind it pulled so i could avoid a root canal after having it pulled i got 2 separate bone splinters. its when pieces of jaw bone actually pop throught the gums in shards. fun. had to have it sawed down. gross. now this...i am not gonna have many molars left.
OMG That sounds like pure hell. I am so glad that I have never really had many problems with my teeth. **knock on wood**
