ive been off for 12 hours now if i knew how long the withdraws last then i could set a goal but right now im so depressed what can i do

So, you average about 12, 7.5/550 hydrocodone, and you are completely out for for the next 12 days. Has this ever happened to you before, I mean by the time you see him you will be detoxed, But you are going to go through hell over the next 5 -6 days, Get yourself everything you are going to need to get through this. as follows:
1.Orange juice
2.immodium for diarrhea
3 ibuprofen 200 mg for aches and pains
4 drink lots of water 8-10 glasses per day
5.boost or ensure  drinks for nutrition
6.chocolate candy bars
7.xanax or ativan or Valium for anxiety= rx
8.hot baths or showers.
9.clonodine= rx

washrag there's no beating around the bush, you are going to get sick. You may or may not been thru this before? However if you have anything in the house to relax you then take them as prescribed. If you don't maybe a friend could float you some or make some kind of deal.
Your worst time is going to be the night when you are lying there stinking/ thinking. I'd say day3, You have to keep pushing the water, drink the energy drinks, eat chocolate for cravings with orange juice, If you can get the clonidine take point .1mg clonidine  as they are very strong blood pressure medication, and 1mg xanax bid (twice a day), or 5mg Valium in am and 10mg hs (bed time).
You have more than likely run out early before, although maybe not this early, It's not going to be easy but I have an idea you have been down this road before, NO friends take this med or another opiate they could help you with like 2 a day?

Maybe the pharmacy the pharmacy shorted you on your prescription? What pharmacy is it a chain

That question is very difficult to answer by your post it matters on what narcotic you took......
it matters how many you took a day and for how long months, years..........
It matter what strength the narcotics were.........
It depends on your body size and tollereance............

then were not all the same........some people have very different experiences with certain drugs......

i took 2 last night of the vicodin es the norco i take is the 10mgs im in withdrawl right now my doc gives them to me 180 a month  my next pick up is on the 24th of this month

When do you get your next refill. and are you on the 5mg , 7.5mg or the 10mgs. How many did you take at 8:30pm last night. Are you in full withdrawal yet? I'm talking withdraws, the chills, no appetite, the runs, and the cramping in the legs, watery eyes, You are probably about 8hrs from full blown detox, The depression comes from missing your best friend.(hydrocodone) and is your doctor cool or not. Or have you already played that game with him before. Also what about the sub Detox have you ever heard of it? You didn't mention it in your return post, How many does your DR write you a month or week or what?--noah

i ran out of meds but i can still get the vicodin but i want off of them my kids dont deserve me acting like a nut case last time i took them was 8:30 pm  im about 14 hours in but the depression is bad

Are you off by choice or did you just run out of meds, how long until your next refill if at all. There is a 21 day suboxone detox you could do but the cost may be high w/out insurance, especially for the medication itself; also finding a sub Dr. in your area may not be easy. To find a doctor go to www.suboxone.com and use the physician finder.

Stopping opiates on your own is extremely difficult and uncomfortable. What are you taking? So the last time you took anything was about 12am EST. right?

The physical w/d's will last 5-7 days and then the mental cravings will start in. Just try to take it day by day...it did not take us 3 weeks to get addicted and will take time to recover. You should also look into outside support AA/NA. Everyone is different when it comes to recovery. Wishing you the best of luck.

I've heard they can last for about 2-3 weeks iam addicted also but switched to methadone for withdrawel i dont recommend it to anyone cause now i am addicted to that hang in there
