The Thomas recipe can help with the restless leg. I had to tough it out for a while, but I found comfort in NA meetings with people who knew exactly what I was going through. It helped a LOT! Have you checked out AA or NA?

Oh my God, do NOT take 30 immodium a day!! Not only can you do serious damage to your intestines, but that is another addiction all it's own. Some folks can get a similar opiate high, and that's why they take so many. The ONLY way to get through this is to just get through it. It takes patience and a lot of discomfort. Any "magic" way of rushing the wds is BS. The folks that have long term sobriety do this: deal w/ the withdrawls (Thomas recipe can help), and then immediately get in aftercare. Once we remove the drugs, then we are just addicts w/o drugs. We need help for our brains. Using is just the symptom, it isn't the problem. The folks on here who've been successful in maintaining their sobriety are heavily involved in aftercare. Meetings, AA or NA sometimes combined w/ addiction counseling or outpatient therapy. For myself, meetings have done it. Hang in there and keep checking back w/ us!
