opinions?

So I am dropping to two a day startingThursday. I will talk to the Dr also when I see him but what is everyone's opinion about using gabipatin or ativan to help during really bad anxiety moments or w/d moments. Should I stay away from them or use them when a it's really bad. I feel that the anxiaty is the only thing I will have a hard time tolerating. I am handling (so far) the other symptoms. I'm also naturally very energetic to put it nicely. The norco helped with the anxiety. What are your thoughts.  Or is it okay to take the ativan once in a while.

I have to agree with onthefence...it's much healthier to push through those feelings on your own. There are supplements that can help like valerian root and magnesium.  But try to incorporate other methods into your day. Try yoga and meditation for example.

these are questions that you should ask your doctor. IMO taking drugs to manipulate or avoid feelings is exactly the opposite direction a person should go in their thinking. That is what i did all my life and no matter how i justified my use,  it didn't work out well.It actually was the root of alot of my anxiety, trying to control how i felt rather than just letting go and embracing and working through whatever feelings come to me, and when i live in recovery and work hard on positive thinking i feel well usually.
